A once-in-an-eternity performance by Christian Ferras

In my "just because" posts, I shall feature performances and recordings which I think deserve to be heard. No, they may not necessarily be recent releases; yes, many musicians may know them already; and, no, they may not have much topical connection to present-day matters. And yet, humankind would be much poorer for it, if they weren't in its collective memory. So, without further comment, here's the first one in the series: Christian Ferras's unique, for-all-time performance of the Second Movement of the Sibelius Violin Concerto (with the Orchestre Nationale de France, maestro Zubin Mehta conducting).
